Position Settings
Override global trading settings for individual positions to customize your exit strategy per token.
What Are Position Settings?
Position Settings allow you to set custom Take Profit and Stop Loss percentages for specific tokens, overriding your global default settings. This is useful when you have different conviction levels or risk tolerance for different tokens.
Accessing Position Settings
You can access Position Settings from multiple places:
Live Dashboard: Click the ⚙️ button on any position
Positions Menu: Select a position, then tap "⚙️ Position Settings"
After Buying: Settings button appears on the buy confirmation message
Available Settings
📊 Exit Mode & Trading Plan
From Position Settings you can also:
Switch between Basic Mode and Plan Mode for this position only
Change Plan: Choose a built-in plan (Trench Snipe, Moonbag Runner, Profit Clipping), one of your saved plans, or Disable Trading Plan at the bottom to turn off automation and manage the position manually
These options appear in the Exit Settings section when viewing a position.
📈 Take Profit (Custom)
Set a specific profit target for this position only, overriding your global take profit setting.
Range: 1-10,000%
Behavior: Position will auto-sell when P&L reaches this percentage
Example: Your global Take Profit is 100%, but you set 200% for a high-conviction token
🛑 Stop Loss (Custom)
Set a specific loss limit for this position only, overriding your global stop loss setting.
Range: 1-100%
Behavior: Position will auto-sell when P&L drops to -X%
Example: Your global Stop Loss is 30%, but you set 50% for a volatile token you trust
🎯 Trailing Stop (Coming Soon)
Dynamic stop loss that follows price increases will be available per-position in a future update.
How It Works
Default Behavior
Without custom settings, all positions use your global settings from the Settings menu:
Global Take Profit (if enabled)
Global Stop Loss (if enabled)
Global Trailing Stop (if enabled)
Override Mode
When you set custom values for a position:
Position uses your custom Take Profit and/or Stop Loss
Other positions continue using global defaults
Visual indicator (⚙️) appears next to the position in lists
Settings persist even if you buy more of the same token
Resetting to Defaults
Tap "🔄 Reset to Defaults" to remove all custom settings and return to using your global settings.
Visual Indicators
⚙️ Icon: Appears next to positions with custom settings in position lists
Settings Display: Shows "(custom)" or "(default)" next to each value
Dashboard Integration: Settings button accessible without stopping the live dashboard
Best Practices
High-Conviction Plays: Use higher Take Profit targets for tokens you believe have more upside
Volatile Tokens: Use wider Stop Loss ranges for tokens with high volatility
Cautious Positions: Use tighter Stop Loss for tokens you're less certain about
Keep Most Defaults: Only use custom settings for special situations to maintain consistency
Review Regularly: Check custom settings as market conditions and your strategy evolve
Important Notes
Settings apply to automated exit triggers only (Take Profit, Stop Loss, Trailing Stop)
Manual sells always work regardless of position settings
Position settings persist if you buy more of the same token (position reopens with same settings)
Moon Bag Mode, if active on a position, disables all auto-sell triggers regardless of settings
Custom settings are independent per position - changing one doesn't affect others
